· What should you wear to a trial?

Something that you can move well in such as leggings or shorts and a t-shirt. For Street and Musical Theatre you are also welcome to wear joggers. For Pre-school to Primary grade, we suggest a dress and leggings.

· What do I do after my trial?

Email office@misssophiesdanceacademy.co.uk to confirm you would like the space, if the class was not quite right for your child still email as we may be able to offer an alternative style.

· Where do I buy uniform?

Uniform is available online through Rock the Dragon for our branded wear https://rockthedragon.co.uk/dance/msda/

Graded uniform is available from Rivals in Faversham, Premier Dancewear in Birchington https://premierdancewear.co.uk/product-category/msda/ or our online MSDA Store.

· Do you have a second-hand uniform box?

Yes, we do so always worth asking and we always take donations too.

· How do you invoice?

After the trial, you will be invoiced for the remainder of the term. We invoice every 11 to 13 week term.

· Can we pay via card or direct debit?

Yes, you can set up your account details on our portal so fees are collected automatically or you can by card when

you receive the invoice. We also offer a two-part payment plan if necessary.,

· How do I add my son or daughter to an event or workshop?

Login into the Portal and click on your child’s name and then class, a list will come up or you can search. https://app.classmanager.com/portal/miss-sophie-s-dance-academy

· I didn’t receive an email regarding a class message, what should I do?

Log on to the Portal and check all your contact details including phone numbers and emails are correct.

· My child has an allergy or requires medication?

Please make sure these details are filled out on the Portal for your child, email the office and also make the class teacher aware.

· When will my child move up a class?

The class teacher will inform you when your child is ready to move up or an email will be sent if over the holiday period.

· I don’t want my child’s photo used for marketing and social media, what should I do?

On your child’s portal mark ‘No’ to not give permission for photos and also email the office with written confirmation.

· I have paid £10 for a 3-week taster but on the portal it only showed one week, is this right?

Yes, it is 3 weeks but unfortunately, the system only lets you choose the first lesson date, the next two lessons will follow consecutively.

· We are going on holiday, do I still have to pay?

Yes, you are paying for the space in class.

· Do you take part in events?

Yes, our pupils get the opportunity to perform at local Fetes, Carnivals, Tapthon (Children in Need), Competitions (Team only) and shows.

· How often do you do a Show?

The pupils get the opportunity to perform in a theatre in a large MSDA show every 18 months.

· Do you offer classes during the Holidays?

All our weekly classes stop for the School Holidays but we offer Themed Workshops for a day or a week.

· The class my child wants to do is full, how do I get added to the waiting list?
