Class Etiquette
Classes are popular and can be busy, to ensure that your child settles quickly into their classes and benefits fully we have felt it appropriate to reflect on the class etiquette. It would be appreciated if you could read through this to ensure your child’s dancingexperience is maximised. Please let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions.
Thank you
Miss Sophie & Team
- Due to classes being busy and some of our halls being limited on space, it is requested that only one adult should drop off and pick up their child from class.
- Parents are not permitted to stay in class unless under special circumstances.
- We do try to start classes on time but due to the unpredictability of younger pupils, this does not always happen. Please be patient and if you do arrive and the class is still taking place, please wait in the lobby area if available or outside.
- If your child is late to class please make sure they arrive quietly and walk around the edge of the room (not across) to ensure as little disturbance & distraction as possible.
- If you are going to be later than 15 minutes please do not attend class. The warmup will have been missed, and class will be well underway, and causes disruption to ALL children.
- A reminder there should be no phones out during the class time.
- All pupils should be wearing the correct uniform.
- Hair should be tied back neatly off the face and in a Bun for Ballet.
- No Jewellery or watches should be worn.
- Children should use the toilet before the class starts.
- Always be polite and listen to your Dance Teacher or assistant’s instructions.
